Installation, Configuration, Testing and Documentation - Once the
security policy is decided, we can install the firewall and configure systems to
enforce it. The configuration will be clearly documented and finally tested to
ensure that network communications operate both freely and in compliance with
policy.

Security Policy Development - The firewall policy establishes which
applications, services, systems and users are to be allowed or denied access
through the firewall; it also defines user authentication methods. We will
advise on the most effective parameters to protect systems within the internal
networks and/or on DMZ networks.

Rule Configuration - Setting up rules for incoming and outgoing traffic
for your company needs. For instance configuring outgoing HTTP, FTP, SMTP and
DNS rules.

Installation and Configuration
Although setting up standard
internet access on a business router is fairly simple – the more advanced
functionality on the business routers can appear complicated to understand.
Therefore our dedicated experts can visit you onsite and configure such advanced
features such as VPN, Access to Internal Terminal Server and VOIP.

VPN – PVS Computing can provide a solution that will allow your workforce
to work from home and still have access to the internal network of your company
with access to email and folders. The VPN technology is made secure by a
encrypted tunnel but you need a business router that has full VPN capabilities.

Internal Terminal Server – Although the Terminal Server sits inside the
internal network the router needs configuring to allow traffic to and from the
Terminal Server box. Not only can PVS Computing configure your Terminal Server
box but we also can tweak the router so that traffic can travel.

VOIP technology allows voice telephone calls to be made over IP
data-links including LAN, WAN and internet applications. PVS Computing offers
complete VoIP solutions including design, implementation and testing.
Mobile
Devices
So your not based in the
office but you want to receive emails, calendar, phone, email or company data.
With expanding technology on the mobile side you can either use a blackberry
device or Windows Mobile device to receive this data. With the Blackberry
technology the client has a number of different ways of communicating between
the mobile device and their internal network. A blackberry can either be
connected to a single pop3 account or to the exchange server through a
Blackberry Exchange Server both ways can be configured by our blackberry experts
at PVS Computing. Windows Mobile devices provide direct access to your
Microsoft Exchange Server, providing access to your email, calendar and contacts
whilst on the road. Only Windows Mobile gives you mobile versions of Microsoft
Office with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook e-mail, contacts, and calendar.
